The City of Rochester, Minn. upgraded its fire alarm system throughout City Hall.
Egan Company’s Fire Alarm team provided electrical support for the demolition of the existing system and the installation of the new equipment.
The project scope included the installation of a new Notifier Addressable Fire Alarm panel, loop cards, a universal digital communicator, 14 firefighter phone jacks, 27 fire alarm pull stations, 142 smoke detectors, duct detectors, and remote test stations.
In addition, the project also consisted of upgrading door release systems, strobe and communication systems, and interfacing with the Government Center’s main fire alarm control panel and workstation.
Egan Company oversaw the drawings, engineering, installation, and programming of the equipment, as well as documentation and training for the systems upon completion.
