Engineering News-Record listed Egan Company as #63 for its Top 600 Specialty Contractors – a 30 spot jump from last year! Egan was also listed as #45 on the list of Top 50 Firms in Electrical and #13 on the list of Top 20 Firms in Glazing and Curtainwall.
This list is based on annual revenue from companies across the United States. This year, the group listed on the Top 600 Specialty Contractors topped the $100 billion revenue mark, an increase of 7.8% from the previous year.
Notifier by Honeywell honored Egan Company with the Diamond Award last week at the Notifier 30th Annual Leadership Conference in Orlando!
This award is given to fire/life safety partners that exhibit outstanding service and sales with Notifier fire protection systems. Egan’s Jason Wolner (General Foreman) and Clint Jerde (Project Manager) attended and accepted this award for the Egan team.
Three Egan projects were nominated for an Award of Excellence from NAIOP Minnesota, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. The three projects were:
BAE Technology Center and PrairieCare won the award for those categories. Egan completed electrical services for both projects, and mechanical services for Southdale Medical Center.

The Minnesota NAIOP Awards of Excellence program recognizes exceptional developments by NAIOP members, with winners selected by a panel of independent judges who rate the projects in a variety of categories.
PrairieCare opened a new location in Brooklyn Park in September 2015, filling a need for pediatric mental health care in Minnesota’s North Metro. The building is a cheerful example of modern design – with calming rooms, living quarters, and treatment and office spaces.
Egan Company was given a Design/Build role to install a vast network of communications, lighting, security, and power systems throughout the facility. This integration of form and function made PrairieCare – Brooklyn Park one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2015. Congratulations to PrairieCare and RJ Ryan Construction on this achievement!
