Building Technology Integration

Target Center, a multi-purpose arena home to the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx, completed extensive renovations in 2017 that have added 20 years to the arena’s lifespan.
Egan’s technology team provided network design, programming, and installation services of the network equipment in the arena.
The new network data equipment was built and hosted at Egan’s Champlin facility which allowed the team to fully configure the system and test the equipment in Egan’s Technology Center before installation at Target Center.
In addition, Egan’s team designed and configured the data network to function at a higher level which allows thousands of users to simultaneously utilize the system. In the event of an internet provider’s loss of signal, a backup signal will take over without a noticeable outage to users.
