- International prescription drug manufacturer Takeda Pharmaceutical, Ltd, tasked Egan with providing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical work for a retrofit of their Manufacturing Sciences Lab building.
- The scope of HVAC work included two new rooftop units, two chilled water fan coil units, and steam and gas process piping.
- Plumbing encompassed acid waste under and above ground, a double containment pumped waste system, and several custom-made laboratory sinks.
- Electrical scope included modifications to the electrical distribution system, lighting, power, fire and security alarm.
- The Brooklyn Park facility is the Japan-based manufacturer’s first U.S. laboratory.
