International prescription drug manufacturer Takeda Pharmaceutical, Ltd, tasked Egan with providing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical work for a retrofit of their Manufacturing Sciences Lab building.
The scope of HVAC work included two new rooftop units, two chilled water fan coil units, and steam and gas process piping.
Plumbing encompassed acid waste under and above ground, a double containment pumped waste system, and several custom-made laboratory sinks.
Electrical scope included modifications to the electrical distribution system, lighting, power, fire and security alarm.
The Brooklyn Park facility is the Japan-based manufacturer’s first U.S. laboratory.
