Electrical // Building Technology Integration

  • The Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel completed an impressive interior remodel and constructed an additional floor to its existing building to total six floors with 312 rooms.
  • In a Design/Build role, Egan demolished the existing water park and constructed multiple new common areas including a swimming pool, fitness center, conference room, and guest rooms in its space.
  • An entire floor was constructed onto the existing hotel building to add 110 guest rooms. Egan’s team also gutted and remodeled existing guest rooms and installed new LED lighting fixtures and power layouts that met updated energy codes.
  • With the additional floor, Egan’s team moved connections of the previous rooftop mechanical/electrical room and elevator equipment to the rooftop of the newly constructed floor.
  • Egan prefabricated all power and lighting boxes in its fabrication shop.
  • Installation of a new fiber optic phone/data system was also provided throughout the hotel by the Egan team.
