  • Egan's Outdoor Electrical completed the Orange Line with the creation of a new, 325 ft Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) tunnel under Interstate 494, west of 35W to hasten the Twin Cities commute.
  • The scope of work on this project included lights, high mast lighting relocation, and a conflict warning system to prevent head-on collisions in the tunnel.
  • Emergency telephones were installed by Egan’s Technology Systems team.
  • The project also included embedding lights in the tunnel walls with over 140 lights piped with PVC coated rigid steel conduit.
  • The team installed a storm water lift station.
  • The Best Buy HQ parking lot was reworked to make necessary changes.
