- The IntelliBatch team engineered, programmed, and commissioned the batching controls package for the Oldcastle APG facility in Cowpens, SC. which included two Windows-based computers and an Allen Bradley CompactLogix safety processor.
- Built in Egan’s UL 508A panel shop, the integrated IntelliBatch system consists of six panels – main control, three dryers, and two bagging lines which were equipped with a CompactLogix Remote I/O rack. The IntelliBatch system controls the wet material/silo fill, landing and material dryer control/dry silo fill (including dryer drum/baghouse), cooling drum/baghouse, and burner integration.
- Egan provided integrated motor control centers to simplify field installation, minimize wiring errors, and lower costs.
