Over the course of 17 days while working 10 hours a day, Egan Company electricians installed solar panels for a major energy company's collection of solar farms spanning across Minnesota.
The project involved multiple small-scale solar sites, consisting of over 20,000 panels each. It is currently the largest solar project completed in North America.
Each panel is roughly 3x5 feet, and weighs around 50 pounds. They also utilize linear axis tracking devices that follows the sun in order to maximize efficiency and production.
In addition, Egan Company pulled wire, wired terminators, and installed combiner boxes to bring the output of several solar strings together.
