Outdoor Electrical
- The 10-mile public transportation project, connecting St. Paul, Maplewood, Landfall, Oakdale, and Woodbury, was powered by the expertise of Egan Company’s Outdoor Electrical team, who installed electrical systems, signals, and interconnects along the route.
- The $35 million project was completed over a two-year period, and more than 64,000 labor hours were logged by over 100 field employees representing five different trades.
- Over 16 miles of fiber optic cable and more than 30 miles of electrical lighting wire were laid to support the system.
- A total of 32 signal systems and over 500 light poles were installed to power and guide transit operations.
- Twenty-nine self-sufficient bus stations were integrated, each designed with independent power capabilities.
- The project included an upgraded power infrastructure to enhance service and reliability.
- The team led efforts to optimize power systems and ensure long-term performance.
