Egan’s mechanical team began Phase 2 buildouts for DMC in Spring 2019.

- One Discovery Square is a four-story, world-class medical research facility in Rochester, Minn.
- Egan completed the installation of all mechanical systems including plumbing, piping, sheet metal, and temperature controls for this approximately 90,000 square foot bioscience building in January 2019.
- In late Spring, Egan's InterClad team finished the installation of glazed aluminum curtainwall, aluminum entrance doors, and miscellaneous interior glazing and glass handrails.
- Egan's building automation team provided all the building automation controls for the core and shell mechanical equipment including boilers, new rooftop unit, VAV boxes, unit heaters, and exhaust fans.
- This building is the foundational anchor of Destination Medical Center, the largest public-private partnership in Minnesota state history -- its occupants include a Mayo Clinic program and other private sector partners.
