- Egan's Southern Minnesota team was on the project team for building and remodeling Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield, Minn. The scope included electrical, voice/data, and fire alarm systems.
- In the first phase, a new 31-bed wing addition was built, adding 74,000 square feet of space to the existing building. The team furnished and installed a new 1,600 amp service with generator and transfer switches.
- In the second phase, Egan's team remodeled 43 patient rooms and multiple recreation/therapy rooms with new LED lighting and devices.
- Multiple trades were utilized on this project including Egan's Southern Minnesota electrical team, technology, and limited energy technicians.
- While the COVID-19 pandemic presented challenging circumstances, everyone wore full PPE (including face masks) while on site in order to mitigate the spread and keep patients safe.
- Chosen Valley Care Center provides skilled nursing services, independent living apartments, and assisted living apartments.
