The new water treatment facility in Brooklyn Center was built to address higher-than-recommended levels of manganese in the city’s drinking water.
As the electrical contractor in partnership with Knutson Construction, Egan provided power, lighting, and controls for the new water plant, which includes water filtration, chemical treatment, storage, and pumping.
The new facility also has emergency generation, garage, offices, public space, and three remote well buildings.
