The project started in 2020 and was completed in March 2025. The building used to be home to General Mills Research Laboratories.

- Responding to an initial service call to fix ongoing power failure issues, Egan Company’s Electrical Special Projects team upgraded the entire electrical service and systems for the 2010 East Hennepin complex in Minneapolis.
- The historic 13-building campus is a mixed-used office complex, housing artists, offices, and food trucks, connected by an underground tunnel system.
- The project included complete electrical upgrades, modernizing equipment, improving safety, and enhancing power performance.
- Egan replaced four feeders, installed new electrical Service, and new distribution switch boards for the buildings.
- The Egan team also recycled the old equipment and safely disposed of soil that was contaminated with transformer oil.
- Every pipe used for the project was precisely bent in Egan’s state-of-the-art prefabrication shop located in Southern Minnesota.
