- Located on the University of Minnesota’s East Bank campus, the Advanced Operations Center (AOC) is a 60,000-square-foot facility housing critical network and data hall operations.
- Egan Company led the mechanical scope of work, including piping, plumbing, and sheet metal systems throughout the facility.
- The project supported the specialized infrastructure needs of a high-performance data center environment.
- Four new computer room air handling (CRAH) units were installed to maintain precise temperature and humidity control within the data hall.
- A new cooling tower and fan coil units (FCUs) were added to enhance cooling capacity and system efficiency.
- The completed facility provides reliable, scalable mechanical systems to support the University’s advanced operations and technology needs.
