SPECIALTIES FEATURED WITH THIS PROJECT:
InterClad
- Located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the Avera on Louise Specialty Campus expanded its existing healthcare facility with a new gastroenterology wing.
- Building on a partnership established during the original 2018 construction, Egan Company/InterClad was selected to support the expansion.
- Egan delivered Design/Assist services for the three-story curtainwall scope of work. The expansion was designed with future growth in mind, including plans for an additional two stories.
- The project included the installation of 25,550 square feet of ultra-thermal Kawneer curtainwall systems and Viracon glass.
- A signature architectural feature, 1,600 linear feet of “hills and grass,” was installed using radiused extrusions in a sunshade application. This distinctive design element reinforces Avera’s recognizable exterior aesthetic across its hospitals and clinics.
