    President & CEO

    As the President and CEO since 2009, Jim is guided by the strong belief that people are Egan’s most important resource. He is involved in all aspects of the business, which has grown exponentially through his strategic leadership. Jim is also actively involved in many of Egan’s community outreach programs.Prior to joining Egan as Chief Financial Officer in 1999, Jim was with McGladry Pullen for 20 years, and partner in charge of the Construction and Real Estate Group the last eight years in the Minneapolis office. Jim has served on both local and national boards, and is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Electrical Contractors Association’s St. Paul chapter (NECA) and he is the Vice Chair of HealthPartners’ Board.Jim and his wife Corinne have two adult children. An outdoors enthusiast, he enjoys hunting, fishing, sailing, skiing, and spending time at the cabin with family and his English Setter.

    Chief Operating Officer since 2014, Duane oversees all business groups and daily operations at Egan. Duane is a hands-on leader in planning and execution, and believes his most important responsibility is maintaining the highest level of integrity and service to Egan’s customers and employees.He began his 30 year construction career as an electrician, reaching Master Electrician before moving into business leadership roles. Since joining Egan in 2002, he has successfully steered Egan through change and growth. Duane is an active board member of the Minneapolis National Electrical Contractors Associations (NECA), the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, and actively involved in many other industry committees. He is currently the Secretary for the Minnesota State Board of Electricity.Duane and his wife Linda have two children and are the proud grandparents of three. When away from the office, he enjoys outdoor activities with his grandsons, and water sports and motorcycling at his cabin.

    Growing up in Iowa, Tim worked on family farms at a young age, acquiring a work ethic that he has brought to his 35 years in the glass business. As a Senior Vice President, Tim oversees all of InterClad, Egan’s curtain wall, glazing, and metal panel specialty trade offering.Tim began his career with Swanson Glass, Inc. in Iowa, before joining Egan’s InterClad team in 2003. During his tenure, InterClad has been consistently honored as one of the top contract glaziers in the country.When away from the office, Tim enjoys spending time reading James Patterson novels, boating and visiting his family in Iowa — especially the newest members of his family, his grandchildren.

    As Egan’s Chief Information Officer, Jim is responsible for the strategic direction of Egan’s Information Technology systems. Since joining Egan in 1998, Jim has led the IT team in transforming Egan into a cutting-edge construction company, utilizing the latest in technology for the field and office.After studying Computer Science at the University of Minnesota, he received extensive training at the National Guard Professional Education Center, a federal training facility in Little Rock, Arkansas for his job at the Department of Military Affairs. Jim has also brought his innovative leadership to community involvement projects, including designing solar LED lighting systems for homes in Haiti.Jim and his wife Nicole are proud parents of a young daughter. When not learning the ins and outs of parenting, Jim enjoys skijoring with his German Shepherd, playing basketball, gardening, and reading nonfiction.
