Mechanical Contractors' Information Exchange Group
Since 1985, Egan has been a member of the Mechanical Contractors' Information
Exchange Group ("MCIEG") -- an alliance of seven private, top-ranked
mechanical and facility services contractors from different regions of the
US that together account for $1 billion annually in specialty contracting services.
The MCIEG offers its members a venue for the discussion of pertinent industry
issues and strategies and about every three years provides an extensive peer
review critique of each member’s business practices. Each year MCIEG member
employees meet in various focus groups to review best practices and methods
in sales, operations, human resources, training, finance, estimating, engineering,
IT and other business functions. Members frequently join venture to provide their
customers with the best resources and talent where they need it. All members are
ranked in the top 600 specialty contractors by ENR Magazine.
